Question how to install manual on LFS 6.1 livecd to hard drive

Hi everyone! New to this site and a linux & LFS novice. The only problem I am having at present is not being able to install the manual from the livecd to the hard drive. Would be a lot easier to configure lfs if I could copy and paste. Can't figure out the procedure. Any help would be appreciated

what do you mean?

You can copy and paste with the live cd if your mouse is working.
Just select text and press middle button where you want to paste it.

If you don't have the middle button you will need to edit the Livecd image in the directory were X11 is edit Xorg to emulate the third button by pressing both them simultainiously.

Maybe it is not a good solution, but you can run startx and copy/paste from Firefox when reading the LFS book. I am newbie LFS too and using XFCE helped me a lot.

Yes you cant but instead of copy:
  • Just select the text.
  • Then in the xterm window click the middle button to paste (the selection).
