DHCP Configuration

I have two ethernet devices, one wired and one wireless.

can I use the following to create a basic dhcp configuration for the second port?
Quote:
cat > /etc/systemd/network/10-eth1-dhcp.network << "EOF"
[Match]
Name=eth1

[Network]
DHCP=ipv4
EOF
or do I have to do this in the same file?

use either iwconfig or ifconfig (as root) to find out the interface: for example, mine is:
Code:
wlp7s0b1  IEEE 802.11bgn  ESSID:"my_essid"
          Mode:Managed  Frequency:2.437 GHz  Access Point: BC:4D:AA:00:00:00
          Bit Rate=58.5 Mb/s   Tx-Power=19 dBm
          Retry short limit:7   RTS thr:off   Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality=70/70  Signal level=-17 dBm
          Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:23  Invalid misc:1369   Missed beacon:0

enp6s0    no wireless extensions.

sit0      no wireless extensions.

lo        no wireless extensions.

You need to know what LFS has named it not what the host names it, If it,s not found then the drivers and or firmware need installing, also wpa_supplicant will be required
