binutils chapter6 lfs test fails


hi
of course another error.
im installing binutils chapter6.ver7.9. i saw in one post Krejzi replyed that might problem was with textinfo in chapter5. i go back reinstalling text tools ang gives me a error

i run this again as root accidently, try again as lfs and when configuring perl sy no c compiler i run ldd/tools/bin/gcc and its pointing to /tools/lib64.

i need mor help from you people

Chapter 6 is done as "ROOT"

yes i now, but how i expirienced errors installing binutils in chapter6, i searched for solutions and on some forum i saw Krejzi post that the problem might be in chapter5 when installing texinfo, i go back to texinfo make test saw errors, searched forums saw that that may be from perl install also in chapter5, try reinstall perl it sad gcc missing only as lfs user.

dont bother replay i will start over.

re

problem here was i copy perl files with sudo permissions. Not good way so dont do that.
