6.9.1. Installation of Glibc

This is my first attempt at LFS.
I was wondering if this is considered "safe fail"
Code:
root:/sources/glibc-build# grep Error glibc-check-log
make[2]: [/sources/glibc-build/posix/annexc.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-build/rt/tst-cputimer1.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [rt/tests] Error 2
make[2]: [/sources/glibc-build/conform/run-conformtest.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make: *** [check] Error 2
I had no error anywhere else so far. I guess the tst-cputimer1.out error can be ignored, not sure about the [rt/tests] Error 2

Hi

As stated on that page
Quote:
You will probably see an expected (ignored) failure in the posix/annexc and conform/run-conformtest tests. In addition the Glibc test suite is somewhat dependent on the host system. This is a list of the most common issues:
It is expected, an ignore result

Please mark threads solved if they are, it's annoying to go through the forum and then read through a thread only to find that it has already been solved.

My Glibc install stopped here. But the output was slightly different:

Quote:
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-build/stdio-common/bug22.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [stdio-common/tests] Error 2
make[2]: [/sources/glibc-build/posix/annexc.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make[2]: *** [/sources/glibc-build/rt/tst-cpuclock2.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [rt/tests] Error 2
make[2]: [/sources/glibc-build/conform/run-conformtest.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make: *** [check] Error 2
I think it's ok and i can go on. Am i right?
