re: Silicon Image Sil3114 SATA RAID 1 Driver for SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for AMD

Hello All,

I have DUAL-opteron motherboard "Thunder K8W (S2885)" with Integrated SATA Controller
- Silicon Image Sil3114 SATA RAID Accelerator

I am blocked with a following problem during
SUSE 8(SuSE Linux Enterprise Server for AMD Opteron) installation:

SUSE installer fails to detect the Raid-1 set created
at SiliconImage 3114 controller.

Looking for a RAID driver...if you have it?

Any comments/hints/answers are greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!
