Question Password Changes on Multiple Servers?

I've got approximately 45 Linux servers that I need to change my user password on every three months. This takes a lot of my time to logon to each server, run passwd, answer the questions interactively, and then logoff, of each server. The number of servers I've got just seems to be going up, and it's getting longer and longer to do this. Does anyone have a way to change your user password on multiple servers using some sort of script? I'm using Putty for my SSH client.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Couldn't you setup authentication via NIS, LDAP or AD?

Unfortunately, no. Setting these up to use one of those methods is too big a project to tackle. We were trying to use Centrify, but the boss won't put out the money. So I'm stuck with finding a way to script it.

Could you use a nfs to share the password files? I think I read once about someone doing that. Or, maybe upload the password file to all the different servers on a 3 month basis. I am not sure how that would work.

The only way I can figure out is to script an SSH session to change the PW's. I've found a Perl script, so now I just have to test it out and see if I can get it to work.

One simple way would be to change the password on one server and get the line from /etc/shadow. Then replace that line on all the other servers with sed in a script.
