Question getting error while logging in linux

Hi,

Whenever I attempt to open a Terminal windows I get this message - 'There was an error creating the child process for this terminal'.

What is the likely cause of this problem and how can I fix it?

Do you have this line in your fstab file?:

Code:
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
