Backup Exec Permissions issues

I have installed backup execs RALUS client on my web server running RHEL3, which is backing up 99% of the directories I asked it to just fine. Except for 5 of them and I can't figure out what my permissions issue is. I asked my colleagues here at work and they're stumped as well. I'm hoping that we're just looking past something obvious....

Anyway, it's always the same directories.

Here are the error messages from BE:

Backup- \\myserver.org\[ROOT] V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory var/www/htdocs/bookstore/images/books/music/.
V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory var/www/htdocs/interconnections/policy/resources/.
V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory var/www/htdocs/uuawo/new/downloads/.
V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory var/www/htdocs/uuawo/new/downloads.old/.
V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory var/www/htdocs/uuhs/duub/articles/.

The permissions on those directories are identical from what I can tell.

These are the permissions for the first directory. The RALUS user is not the owner, but is a member of the group. I can also back up the other files in the container music is in, which have the same owner/group. I tried copying everything from the downloads directory into a new directory, and neither of those will back up now.

Here are the permissions for the parent directory and then a directory I have no problems backing up and the third and fourth directory from above.

drwxrwxr-x 3 "Owner" "group" 8192 Dec 19 15:08 music

drwxrwxr-x 2 "Owner" "group" 4096 Aug 26 2002 docs
drwxrwxr-x 2 "Owner" "group" 8192 Jan 18 16:56 downloads
drwxrwxr-x 2 "Owner" "group" 8192 Sep 15 2004 downloads.old

Anyone have any ideas for a good next step to take?

thanks in advance,

Scott

So has this not gotten any replies because I'm missing something dead simple or because its a real stumper? I posted the same question on the Veritas site and didn't hear anything there either....
