RH Linux BackUp Exec Binaries

Hello,

I would like to backup my RH Linux Server using our existing Backup Exec v. 9 install.

I pulled the Unix Binaries off of CD, and I ran the ./INSTALL executable. However, the install tells me that the version I have has not been tested on my distribution.

Does anyone know where I can get binaries for BackupExec for RedHat Linux 9? I already looked on the BackupExec website (logically) however, I can't find them there.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Jason

hi

if you have an option to go ahead try doing it. you dont really need specialized tools for backup

rsync and tar would do just fine
