which best with newer PCI-e laptop?

Hi Everyone,

First off, I've done quite a bit of searching and testing prior to posting this. I don't want anyone to think I'm looking for an easy answer.

I have tried many distrobutions (Mandriva One, Mandriva 2007 free, FC6, Ubuntu 6.1, openSuse 10.2, PCLinuxOs, and Kubuntu) to find the best fit for my machine. Been using openSuse 10.2 with much success but keep running into periodic pci-e problems. It has been working most of the time, including proprietary Nvidia driver and broadcom wirelss. Seems like every two weeks I hit a brick wall with some hardware issues (namely hwclock) and have to re-install the root partition to get it working. I'm not really looking for detailed instructions to fix that problem, I've posted that in the suggested forum. What I'm looking for is just general experience of the group when it comes to the pci-e monsters with Nvidia about what distros have worked very well for them.

Thanks for your input

Jason
