Hi i run a suse 8.1 and when i automaticaly installed my sound card didnt show up so i go for the next closest thing ut that doesnt work so wut do i do? ... r there any new drivers for that?
MY sound card is CreativeLabs Soundblaster Audigy LS.

I have an Audigy card as well, and I used to run linux with it. Do a search for emu10k1 drivers. I don't know if they come precompiled for your distribution.

I found a live slackware boot cd that seemed to autodetect my card and insert this module at boot. It's been a while since I went through the trouble of figuring out the install process, but if you don't have it and get the source, it should be pretty simple.

Untar the archive somewhere, do a 'configure', 'make', then 'make install' and that should get it in to your system. Or, your distribution may have a package already made up for emu10k1. Check around. HTH
