need a basic linux for xterm only

I need to find a small linux distro to allow us to have xterm for monitoring a Unix box.

It only needs to:

1- Boot and run from floppy or cd
2- give xterm capability to talk to Unix server
3- allow communicating with a gui-based application (hp openview)
4- be portable so we can run from whatever PC we are at

I know about Knoppix, Slax, etc, but those are overkill.

Anything more minimal out there?

Just found out that the 'emergency' we were having is being called off

So I'm gonna stop looking.

serz - I believe I will look at DSL for my own entertainment over the weekend. Thanks for the fast reply.

Case closed (until the next panic attack) !
