live cd for security & rescue


im not really familiar with live cd.

im looking for 2 live cds, dedicated for security and rescue respectively.

or is there a live cd that is great enough to do both job?

Knoppix is the biggest general distribution. I also use System Rescue CD and the Ultimate Boot CD from time to time.

After a quick google, here's an article with four big ones on security auditing. They may be general enough to most rescue ops also...

Whoppix and Auditor merged and came out with a nice live cd
