help in choosing a distribution


Hi folks ,
I need your help in choosing a dist. to install.
i have an experience with redhat 9.0 & ubuntu 6.06 and need a new dist that :
1- fast ( lightweight )
2- powerful ( stable )
3- with gnome or at least kde enviroments
4- with an easy way to install new programs ( prefered from repositories )
5- i hope it will be slackware
