it's all fixed now, thank you for your help, I am not sure why I missed that on the site, I must have read it 4 times without it sinking in.... then I saw it in another script I was examaning and wham it hit me. thanx again.
you to, now if I could only figure out why mozilla consistantly takes 36 seconds to load (oh and why it failed to compile from source using the ebuild, I ended up using the binary package fromt he mozilla site)
