ooodi dependancy problem

I'm trying to install ooodi ( a script to install spelling and hyphenation files for different languages in OpenOffice.org). Listed among the dependancies is libcurl, which I have installed. After installation and upon trying to run the script it complains it can't communicate with libcurl.so.2 ... which makes sense because I've got libcurl.so.3 on my system. Any suggestions as to how to get it to work?

Well, this is most probably a bad trick but creating a symlink to libcurl.so.3 named libcurl.so.2 would probably do it.
As example :
ln -s /usr/where/to/lib/libcurl.so.3 /usr/where/to/lib/libcurl.so.2

I've found another sollution: a file called DicOOOo.swx that opens in OOowriter and contains a macro that will do the same job ooodi was supposed to do. I like the trick, though. At worst it still wouldn't work.
