At first glance I would guess the graphics at the top and the prohibited sign are either from the BIOS/UEFI or the monitor if it has USB ports.

Is this a desktop or laptop?

Does the computer use USB or PS/2 ports?

Does the mouse work?

If the keyboard is USB what happens if you unplug the keyboard?

If your computer is a desktop could the CMOS battery need replacing?

Is this a desktop or laptop? It is a headless mini pc. Access via Realvnc client

Does the computer use USB or PS/2 ports? 1 rtl-sdr dongle and 1 zigbee dongle

Does the mouse work? No mouse connected.

If the keyboard is USB what happens if you unplug the keyboard? No keyboard.

If your computer is a desktop could the CMOS battery need replacing? Not sure about this because the date and time are still correct, , perhaps by ntp update via wifi
Pls see my reply in line above.

What type of computer are you using for the client?

I assume that it works without problems if not connected to your headless PC?

On my laptop, after running Realvnc client and see the Ubuntu desktop with the prohibited sign, I send ctrl+alt+del command and back out from it; then I can continue working on it. However, on my desktop, the same solution did not work.
