Hmm, I think I expressed a bit vague - sorry ... the program you use to explore the drive(s) with the little drawers as icon (is that the nautilus?), that program has an icon for the trash - now it's a folder (it seems) instead of a real trascan on the screen...
I dont think it's possible anymore to even have a trashcan or any icons...
My main reason to make a swift move to XFCE ... as soon as I am 100% sure it's safe for my system...

It is nautilus, and yes it has its own trash folder...so I guess I'll have to get used to that.
But I have 3 nautilus icons on my gnome3 desktop along with all the other icons for applications (and some are duplicates). How can I delete the ones I do not wish to keep?
On previous versions of fc, I was able to set up and delete icons using "Edit Menu"; in fc15 it ain't that easy!!
