debian boot problem L 99 99
i couldn't solve the problem
I need urgent help on this
I got an image from a working machine with acronis
it keeps giving this error
Without knowing what happened that caused the lilo error or the system setup, not able to give any details on how to fix.
The basic steps to fix are:
boot from a live iso
mount the root partition to /mnt
mount any other partitions that need to be mounted
mount --bind dev, proc, sys, run to the same directories on /mnt
chroot into /mnt
rerun lilo

What are the specs of the broken machine that the image was made on and the specs of the new pc the image was installed on? ie: make/model, year bought, processor, amount of ram, more the information about the two systems the better.
