I am wondering if KDE 4.11.5 supports moving icons on the desktop over to the right side? The version that shipping with Kubuntu 12.04 did, but I have not yet found a way to get them moved in this version. They did make changes of course so I thought maybe I am missing the option but a search on the web keeps pointing me to KDE 3.5 or just KDE desktop help in general.
Oh yes the icons that would go on top of the wallpaper. In windows they align to the left, and in Mac they align to the right. At some point I found a way to make KDE align them to the right but since my update they do not anymore, and I cannot seem to find the option.
Actually you were really helpful! There is a way and it was completely under my nose!
You right-click on the desktop, choose icons, and then align.. you can choose either left or right. I did not even think to look there as I am so used to going into the control panel for appearance changes.
