Help me !!!


My ubantu 19.10 has not install as dual boot.
My windows 10 installed as legacy.after i installed linux window 10 not working.

Hello and welcome to LQ.

Yes, sometimes linux will not install correctly.

First is how valuable is the Windows 10. If very and you have no backup then try to fix windows 10 by booting to a similar dvd. MS offers the disc images and can be made into a usb to fix.

Then I'd suggest that you use a live linux either after or before to monitor the disk and to see what partitions you have.


You may have been better trying a free virtual machine.

The Ubuntu developers have a site available online (link below) dedicated specifically to this situation and it has been available for years so try giving it a read so you have an understanding of the process and post back if you have specific question.
