Your application likely needs an older version of QT.

GTK is intended for full-featured user interfaces. Simple user interfaces are better done with the command line and console input/output.

No, but what I really want to state is that I have got some insight from the discussion. Now I would like to conclude, as my expectations cannot meat the reality of current desktop environments; something has to be modified but it cannot be done, here.
