Question Good used machine for FedoraKDE

I am looking for some recommendations for a machine that is going to work long term for my desktop. I want to run a Fedora spin on it. I need to stay under $200 and would like it to be as reliable as possible.

This is one that I have been looking at:

Thanks for your time,

That looks plenty brawny for any distro you might wish to put on it. The leader of my LUG, who also favors Fedora with KDE, is of the opinion that 3GB RAM seems to be the boundary between adequate and inadequate performance for most distros with full-featured desktop environments, 4GB is nice, and anything more is sweet, sweet gravy.

I would set my own personal minimum in today's environment at 4GB.

fedora is supported only for i think 13 months(or 1 month after next release). so long term, nope. unless you follow the fedup thing. Is that still being used?, I havent used Fedora in a few years.

The seller has a positive feedback rating of 98.6% which is below what I consider acceptable for an eBay vendor. Also look at the individual negative feedbacks and the problems described are caused by the vendor, not by unreasonable customer expectations.

I would look elsewhere to buy a computer.

6 months. So Fedora 23 is supported until January (Fedora 24 was just released a few weeks ago).

And fedup is gone, upgrading from one version of the distro to another is now handled through dnf which replaced yum.

I actually agree with this. While I have nothing against 98.6% positive, if you look at the notes for the negatives it's almost EVERY time the seller sending damaged/wrong products, and often unwilling to correct it.
