gnome hangs on FC13

Hi,

I have upgraded my system from Fedora Core 11 to Fedora Core 13 two months back.

The issue is that, my gnome get abruptly hang and I have to soft "reboot" my machine.
However, it does not hang the whole machine.

This never happened before with FC11 which I was using for 1-2 years.
Has anyone come across this issue with FC13 and is there any solution for this?

1 work around would be to press ctl + alt + backspace when it hangs your desktop. Which will kill your Gnome Session, and drop you back down to a shell. You can then do a startx. If it was me I would try to create another account, and see if hangs using another login account. If thats the case, then you know it has something to do with your profile configuration for Gnome.

Forgot to mention that,
Keyboard does not work on gnome, though it works on normal terminal (ctrl+alt+F2).
Tried "startx" but it gives other errors and does not start new gnome session.

try creating another account

from terminal:

useradd -m accountname
passwd accountname
exit

then login with new account and try gnome
