fluxbox + youtube fullscreen = gray screen and crash?

I'm having this problem only in fluxbox, everytime i try to get the fullscreen in youtube or any other site i get a gray screen and firefox crash, i'm only having this problem in fluxobx since i've already tried it in kde and xfce,(i'm using slackware) seems like it's a fluxbox deal.. what can i do?

You might want to start fluxbox using a log file
in your .xinitrc in your home directory the last entry is probably
exec /usr/bin/startfluxbox

append -log /path/to/logfile

Then see if you can repeat the error and take a look at the log file and see what it says.
