E17 + Mint cursor focus

Anyone any ideas what I'm looking for here? Until a recent enlightenment upgrade the cursor moved itself to the next relevant clicking place ie. in Synaptic you would mark all upgrades in the toolbar, click apply and the dialogue box comes up asking you to apply the following changes - the cursor moves itself from the toolbar to the dialogue box.
Not important but I liked it and have no idea if it's part of Mint or Enlightenment or what the feature is called.
Any ideas welcome.
