I have just done a reinstall of LM. In the past, for safety, I have disconnected any drives—this time I didn't. I have always used /etc/fstab to mount drives where I want them.
For some reason, LM automatically mounted to /media/robert/Movies. I have tried to override this in /etc/fstab that does not work.
I have just spent several hours trying to work out what mounted it in the first place. I could use a symlink but that is messy in this case.
Any help would be appreciated.

To get started I'd say show us the content of /etc/fstab, issue lsblk, and look at the journal* while plugging in/out the drives in question.
Yes, also tell us more about the drives: internal, external, USB or not etc.

Thank you for your reply After heaps of reading I have worked it out. Only the primary drive is in /etc/fstab the others that have automounted are in Drives that are on LM 20.3. It's been a few years since I did a clean instal. I have it running the way I wanted albeit in a different way. Thank you for getting back to me.
