May I cordially suggest that you should
stop "drinking the certifications kool-aid."
Instead, start looking at your job-prospects from
the buyer's (!!!) point-of-view.
The "certification kool-aid" game says that the world of IT is a world of
Arkane Mysteries ... known to No Mortal (Wo)Man ...
certainly not to your employer. That all you need to do is to
Learn The Mysteries, paying thousands of dollars for a
Certification to demonstrate that
You are among the
Initiated.
Get over it.
Fast.
Starting with your
first day on the job, you will find yourself surrounded by people who know more about the subject of computing, from more different angles and with more nuances, than you ever
dreamed it was possible to know. And, if you imagine that you are "in a knowledge competition" with any of those people ... if you imagine that such a thing is 'the point,' or even that it is valued ... then you have just smashed yourself in the foot.
Be
humble. Be willing, above all else, to
learn. Let
other people speak of what you know, and of what you can do.
"He who is faithful with little, will be faithful with much."
