Dear Vikas:
Its good to know that u r going ahead for RHCSS. I want to learn RHCSS but right now I have no institute to guide me. If any one can provide me the e-version of RHCSS books for study, i shall be highly grateful.

I dont have the e-version of the book. You are from which country ? May be I can guide you further to a good institute.
hi vikas
can u please tell me is there any job opportunity for me as i have done rhce and ccna but still undergraduate(second year), in delhi
Jeet, trust my words there is lots of opportunity in Linux in India. Dont ever listen to one who says Linux can not land you in a job.
I get around 2-3 calls every week.
But, you need to have a good understanding of the basics. RHCE course gives you outline, you have to dig yourself more into concepts. Learn as much you can. You know, I am addicted to this forum for the same reason. In free time, I just keep on giving or reading solutions given to people in thread and update myself.
This is the key which works for me & keeps me updated. Also, CCNA is a big plus for you.
thank u for ur response,
can u please suggest me some topics to dig, and help me out with providing the notes for the same, my mail id is jeet7668@yahoo.co.in

My notes is google. I google whatever I can not find in this forum.
Some topics to be taken care are:
NFS
NIS
TCP Wrappers
User Admin
Linux Boot Process
DHCP
Now, you must be thinking that these topics you have already covered in RHCE, but there is much more to it.
Like,
- Port used by NFS/NIS Daemons
- What all services are required for running NFS/NIS Server client
etc etc.
RHCE covers basic of things. You need to explore much more to get into a good job. I am too still exploring.
What interview?? Are you asking what questions you'd be asked in a job interview if you have the qualifications? How would we know, and what would you expect us to guess at them for anyway.
hi vikas,
wat do u say about rh423, like in how many days one can complete it normally after rhce, moreover can u please tell me the exam format and little bit more about the same
Why can't people just read the details on the redhat site?? All the information you need is there. It makes no sense to say how many days... it's about a different product set, nothing in common for 90% of the content.
hi there buddy,
i am an rhce . i am training for my rh423 .but unfortunately i don't know why there is a chapter on active directory services in course module?can you clarify my doubt?
