I'm getting ready to take the new Linux+ Beta Exam next week it's suppose to have updated material from the existing exam which was based on 2001 info.
Comptia is currently offering this exam for $75.00 for 8 weeks.
Have anyone tried this exam if so give me some insight on the content.
I took the test on yesterday actually. The test had 145 questions and basically I jumped in with the info I picked up from the practice test on Linux + and with my experience hoping that would give me a slight edge on answering the exams questions. Overall I think I did ok.
I won't actually get the results until the beta exam period is finished which will be in approx 7 weeks.
I figured for $70.00 it worth a shot. The existing live test for LInux + cost $207.00 so I though it was a good deal.
