basic linux exam certification ?


hello can some one please tell where to start what is the first certificate some one should go for there seems to be quite a lot of them about i want to start on an easy level and work my way up so the first one should be quite basic not to much of a mind boggler iv looked at various certs but dont know what to go for.for instance the rhce seems to be for people who know linux fairly well i dont think its for some one starting out so that one is out of the question

The first LPIC cert is probably the most basic. It is not a distro specific cert and a well recognised. www.lpi.org

hello i have not checked this yet but it is supposed to give you a free trial on linux "http://www.worldwidelearn.com/linux.htm" i think its a try befor you buy kind of site you might not get a fancy cert but maybe ull get practice
