Network Driver Issue

Hi all. I have an RTL8188ce driver as my WiFi card. I compiled the modules of the drivers that said RTL8188 in them, but I didn't see the ce part of it. Ifconfig didn't show the device either, but it works perfectly in the Live CD. How can I get it to work with my kernel? I did use a Genkernel, so will I need to chroot back in and install firmware? If so, what package?

At least in the 3.14.4 kernel, the Realtek 8188CE is handled by the rtl8192ce driver.

The RTL8188 firmware is include in the package "linux-firmware".

Merge "linux-firmware" into your Gentoo system. This will install a number of rtl8188 and rtl8192 firmware packages into /lib64/firmware. The kernel driver should choose the correct firmware to load.
