I was at a Redhat conference last month and the presenter was using a laptop which had Redhat Enterprise Linux on it, and I thought, cool he's not using Windows

Watched another redhat video this morning.. and it struck me..

..what program do they use to create such a cool video that contains both animation and digital footage?

Do they use Redhat? if so what program? I have been searching for a long time to find something to create such multimedia..

any ideas?

I'm also looking for the "Truth Happens" video (the one with Gandhi quotes) to download.. but I can't find it anywhere..

I assume that's some "flash" like package used?

well the file is available as realplayer or quicktime..

it consists of text and other animation, as well as editted video footage.

i wonder if they use kino / cinelerra or something..

my guess is it's done on a mac or windows box.
