I am just surfing the interwebs, reading news articles while hearing the gentle sounds of Cantonese Pop music in the background that wifey is listening to.

Or better yet mank Slackware's package manager to be able to read that file.

I think I read that Slackware does not detect dependencies to stay simple. On the other hand Arch Linux is obsessive about KISS but they still decided to have a dependency-handling package manager, which I think proves a point.

Don't you think the Slackware forum would be a better place to ask your question?
Perhaps. But I see I am not making myself clear (again). My original post on this matter:

Wondering why the Slackware developers don't post some sort of dependency information for the official packages. Sure, don't modify the package management utilities, simply add a text file (or such) for each package listing direct dependencies. Or one big text file.
Thread title: What are you doing now?

Checking to see if xorg will crash again with "Failed to submit batchbuffer" on Slackware-current. Recompiled 2.6.33-rc6, libdrm from git, and intel 2.8.0 from Slackware 13.0...Now it's a waiting game to see what happens...
