You were disappointed by "Lions 'n Tigers 'n Bears" as a response to your personal story? What did you expect? There is no objective evidence that you got any manner of "message". It is far more simply explained by coincidence especially since you sought him out for many days. Sooner or later it was likely. Rather than go through all that yet again about standards of evidence and critical thought, I figured my comment demonstrated Frame of Reference and jumping to conclusions. It was not my intent to offend you, but if that is the result of honesty (admittedly with a dollop of obscurity)then oh well. Also please do recall you stated you'd hoped for a negative reaction in the first couple sentences. I didn't think mine was negative. Maybe that was the problem?

BINGO! If you simply accept your experiences as they seem on the surface, instead of tempering them by consideration/examination and critical thought, you are doomed to a great deal of error. This is exactly why some people believed the Earth was The Center of the Universe and everything, including our Sun, revolved around it and Us. Sensory Experience has a long and well-documented track record of failure. One must go deeper to get at Truth and certainly at any hope of Progress.

Really? Potato is poisonous until we cook it? We grow our own potatoes all time and sometimes ate raw not cooked or boiled and nothing happened. And they are not mine fairy tales.

But why would you mention death then without valid cause? I sometimes agree with you and sometimes disagree but i don't go in personal. For this reason wrote chill pill. And you post multiple posts. Why such desperation to overpost? Of course i don't have all answers but other posters also don't have real answers and i do have some real answers like everyone else. Rest need study. Here is one channel on youtube who makes good study points about holy books:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvc...DmIwupw/videos
And when it comes to Jesus and Mohammad and maybe 1 it is subject of study and not so simple. Maybe faith is needed aswell like in this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8o4TrIA76U
I dunno but i keep open-mind to know someday. And most people who post in this thread including you also do not know. Otherwise would explain with facts not counterideas what happened and who was Jesus etc.

Socialism, why can't we have robots do everything for us? LOL

Let's face it we're headed towards Caprica, run the guns make the funds.

Communisms and Socialism is not about robots only world.. And again why use words that insult? By same logic i can write that your parents were idiots and you were born into stupidity aswell. That is not argument but offense. Dunno what is Caprica but i hope we are heading into better future with or without guns.

But our experiences are not just simple surface events..they are extra source of information. Sensory Experience? Where did i wrote it? I was against use of 5 senses as final means to end when it comes to truth. But there are way too many signs and clues that humanity were created and our fleshbone bodies are not true form of humans but vehicle for experience. Go watch that youtube video i linked before, but it is in russian. That guy is your age and makes valid scientific points aswell but without ignoring creation.

Of course our senses are not merely surface events and that's precisely the point. Basically, sensory perception takes place in 3 interactive forms. First, whether we are talking about global perception such as the entire surface area of our skin - Touch - or highly localized like Smell or Sight - we have sensory nerves which are triggered into an electro-chemical response by external events. Then, 2) an analogue of that reaction travels to our brains where it triggers another primary electro-chemical response, followed by 3) internal "choices" and explorations based on experience that transmit that information to other areas to correlate and hopefully come to a useful conclusion.

This is true but as you can see there is translation/interpretation in every step and in no way does this negate the possibility of a wrong conclusion. Not only do we routinely affect our own perceptions in every step, but we even create considerable within ourselves under some conditions.

Here's a very interesting Ted talk on what hallucinations mean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgOTaXhbqPQ

As Neil De Grasse Tyson points out, it is a bit odd that eyewitness evidence is so important in Law but counts for so little in Science, despite how not only inaccurate but contradictory several eyewitnesses can be when experiencing the same event.

I did try but alas I cannot make any sense out of it due to the language barrier. I am well aware there are people who can manage to "house" both Science and Faith and somehow make that work. I just cannot invest any seriousness in such a subject which is totally speculative and has no function in my life, beyond the fundamental process of how we arrive at conclusions.

Then you are no better than bible God that toys with humans just because can which i still truly not believe just question and study and test..after reading wikia and comics which all suggest that there are higher powers beyond what we are brainwashed and that video in russian(really suggest figuring out what that guy talks or learning russian language) i have accepted idea that real Deity exist but is not holy book God|Devil cause real Deity not need stupid lame tests everyday or too often to get message across. Allknowing means already know without testing..etc. Therefore my first post still valid. There exist "ruling elite" that tries to prevent humanity from evolving. Which is exactly why i said i talk from own experience. I was just like any other normal newborn but last few years i was informed that i need to take fall for what i didn't do. How is it fair? I relate to that post about 2 year surveillance..sometimes life plays out cards that are nasty and undeserved. But i guess what doesn't kill us make us stronger so it is some part of cosmic plan anyway. To learn to move on despite framery|set up. But at least if i have to partially suffer i can prevent other specific beings that i care about from suffering.

In "god" they trust, not I. I don't drop bombs or build walls because of beliefs. But, if you teach your kids* fairy tales as "reality" you do!

Wonder how many atheists or agnostics are racist?

Science explains dark skin, beliefs explain racism!

Actually most of the top Nazis weren't practising Christians.

Here's some census data on Nazi religion...

Quote:

"believing in God"),[7] and 1.5% as "atheist".[6]

There was, however, some diversity in personal views of Nazi leadership as to the future of religion in Germany. Anti-Church radicals included Hitler's personal secretary Martin Bormann, paganist Nazi philosopher Alfred Rosenberg, and paganist occultist Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler. Some Nazis, such as Hans Kerrl, who served as Hitler's Minister for Church Affairs, pushed for "Positive Christianity", a uniquely Nazi form which rejected its Jewish origins and the Old Testament, and portrayed "true" Christianity as a fight against Jews, with Jesus depicted as an Aryan
Please note Atheists at 1.5% which is very likely under reported as always due to fear of prejudice if not reprisal, but extremely unlikely it approached even 10%., hardly a defining factor.

One confusing factor in Germany is that the state collects tithes on behalf of the churches, so everyone has to belong officially to a church unless they register themselves as unbelievers. Hitler himself was officially a catholic. But I don't think any of them were active believers.
