Just out of curiosity, when it is established beyond any doubt that there IS life of some sort out there (bacteria on Mars or whatever), how will that impact your belief? Will you accept that your religion is wrong on a very major point and reconsider your beliefs? Or will you continue to believe that life is only on Earth and say that the Martian bacteria is just a hoax or terrestrial contamination or something?

The facts about Bible is plentiful, immense historical facts.
Cosmology, points out that the universe has an origin.
But, they could not explain what is this Singularity? How does it come into existence?
Science, at the end of the day, Assume and Believe it is so and so.
Most scientists, they simply give figures.

This is just one planet and mankind has yet to identify all of the species living here!
My logic dictates that there has to be many different organisms on many different planets.
I can't prove that but no one can prove that there is absolutely nothing out there, either!
To the contrary, how is it that the earth is not merely accomodating to life, but replete with so many various forms of life, and yet not one iota of life has been discovered elsewhere, however painstakingly people hope to find it? The purpose of earth is to serve as the home of every living material organism.
How do they know it is 100b or 1T galaxies?
Did they count it one by one?

Nitpicking a new science with new tools does not impress this member much. Not being a senior member like you though, I might be missing something, being only a uneducated Tattooed Linux using Biker.
I see a lot a common sense lacking in some members posts here though, mixed in with antagonistic emotion when they are faced with facts. Which sounds familiar to this member who spent Grade School in a parochial school. It makes a believer nervous and they spout all kinds of incoherent statements when one
challenges their belief support system with known facts and all of a sudden they start to nitpick.
It's early yet. The more the tools get better. The more we know, Get used to it. Or not.
