I envy your screen real estate. I have just one 21" screen.
I was going to buy 24" monitor but decided to go to play pool with friends and drink few beers, lol
Never tried KDE nor mandriva, Used Gnome, settled for Xfce on Xubuntu, Debian Lenny and Dreamlinix - like your screenshot but captured your signature for further reading.
Windows 7 doesn't really do anything for me. They should have just called it Vista R2. I have an HP tablet (touch and pen input) PC I might put it on one day so I can try the mutlitouch feature, but I was planning on buying a solid-state drive (SSD) first and they're still a little too pricey. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-touch
