Nerds are very modest people . . . . AND WITH REASON! :-)).

They have much to be modest about.

Let's see.
I'm a nerd.
I've had mohawks and devil's locks dressed in full punk regalia.
I have a pony tail and do physical labor.
I'm a nerd.
I also have a girlfriend and I get laid.
I'm a nerd.

Let the games begin.

Oh I am a nerd.
Running FreeBSD on two machines and a laptop at the same time.
Setting up VNC between my girlfriend's laptop and a dimension.
Helping my brother over the phone with his computer.
Running OpenBD, FreeBSD, and Fedora while setting up VMs on two of them.

I just don't fit the geeky stereotype.

Except using BSD is basically as bad as using this horrable OS(vista).

Nah.
It takes more work.
I only had trouble with one BSD install and that was NetBSD on the G3.
