My new forum: For things that just don't go on LQ.
I started a new forum on my old server. I guess you could say it's for those mindless babblings that do not belong elsewhere. The forum rules are nice as well as fear-inducing:
Code:
I reign supreme here. I don't NEED a reason
to ban you or delete your post. IF I don't like your post,
it might go missing. Curse words are perfectly acceptable,
and personal attacks only when clearly deserved. Oherwise,
I really don't care. Windows users might get a bit of extra hostility.
Mail does not work on this yet, I have no MX record, so there will be no notifications. Other than that, babble away:

1. What happens when someone disagrees with the moderator (ie. you)?
2. Can I have a moderator title?
3. Is a PS3 given to everyone who registers on your forum?
Expected answers:
1. The moderator will apologise for being wrong.
2. Of course, you can. You can choose between: moderator / mega moderator / sycamorator / terminator / exterminator or Rambo 3.
3. Yes, it is. Additionally, a new member will receive a ticket to Disney World and a bottle of sparkling water.
Until all your answers are like the ones above, I'm afraid I can see no reason to abandon LQ
Apart from that, good luck.

1. They can't do a dang thing about it. If they kick up dust I'll kick them.
2. Maybe if my forum gets bigger.
3. No.
I never asked anyone to abandon LinuxQuestions.org. I don't know about you, but I always am in more than one forum.

My forum is complete and running.
It's done and running! I got email working by creating a gmail and pointing phpBB to that. It's 100% done. I am waiting for the flood of users... Cmon... CMON! (I am just happy with registrations)

Do you think the server and the connection can cope with this?
