Can anyone help a poor girl set up Samba and the other things i listed in the forum?

Samba can be a pain, so you really need to read the documentation
on the samba web page http://www.samba.org. There is a config
file in /etc/samba. . .
jordanperson, while you are always welcome to ask question here you have asked 5 blanket questions for 5 vast areas in the space of 10 minutes, this doesn't really suggest you've looked into it that much, have a look at the Rute guide in my signature to help you get started in linux.
