This seems to explain it:
Quote:
Linux version of Musicmatch Jukebox no longer available

Due to an overwhelmingly low response from customers, Musicmatch, Inc. is no longer offering or supporting Musicmatch Jukebox for Linux.

In addition to this, contractual obligations prevent us from distributing versions of Musicmatch Jukebox based on code prior to the Windows 7.10 version. Unfortunately, this includes all versions of Musicmatch Jukebox for Linux.

If you have purchased Musicmatch Jukebox for Linux, your key will work with the Windows version of the program. You can download the latest version of Musicmatch Jukebox from the following URL:

http://www.musicmatch.com/download/

We apologize for any inconvenience.
Sorry, berrance.

oh well, does anybody know of any websites that still have it to download? or does anybody have a copy they could e-mail me or summet please?

to stop suporting it because of lack of dammand is one thing but to also stop offering it aswell is another.

also does anybody have a good sejestion as to somthing other than music match that has a good music database on it. Not kjuke as that thing crashes after sorting through 3 days worth of music and i have about 20 days worth of music for it to sort through.

thanks for the post shade

how about xmms (X multimedia system). it has a winamp style skin by default but this can be changed easily. if you have a bluetooth cell phone you can use it as a remote control if you like (with bemused).
