Hello Hazel and thank you for your considered response. Please note that nothing I wrote should be construed as any sort of justification especially for such blatant hypocrisy. Speaking of hypocrisy please also note that this is also the state of laws regarding sexuality. By what standard other than simply the power to do so establishes that anyone is qualified for sex at any age after puberty. There do exist people of well past 20 that are not emotionally capable and others perfectly capable at 13. My first sexual encounter, if we only count the typical (and ignorant) and common definition that only includes full coitus, was at age 14 and any emotional upheavals as a consequence only resulted in emotional growth as far as I can tell. I am by no means regretful and only wish it had been a lot more frequent, then and later.

A few other things to consider are that accepted gender roles have resulted in a binary definition that has been particularly difficult on females, probably more than males, but certainly some on both. One of the results of such Puritanism is the condition we see in popular entertainment where children are taught about "storks" and to never speak or inquire about sex, but have literally viewed thousands of murders and other forms of violence as a means to an end LONG before Puberty.

Additionally it is my understanding that the legal concept of Pornography was designed by so-called "gentlemen and nobles" in Parliament that saw lower classes as animals unable to abstain from attacking Noble's wives and daughters once they saw a picture of a bare ankle and reserved the privilege to travel the world over not only viewing erotic material but engaging in sexual harassment of the subjugated natives.

Frankly, though I regrettably doubt even my grandchildren will ever live to see it, I'd be very pleased to see a complete abandonment of the imposition of negative, illogical and biased attitudes and behaviour regarding sex, which is far more often than not private and consenting. The legislation of morality is a ridiculously quaint concept that has proven to create far more problems than it could ever solve in anyone's wildest imagination.
