Lightbulb Make good use of your computing power.

Hi everyone,

For those of you who leave your computers on 24/7 (or even those who don't), this is a great way to donate unused computing power for a good cause. You can join projects that you think are worthwhile and help advance scientific knowledge.

I believe that the software is now officially part of the Debian Linux distribution, but for the rest of you it can be downloaded here:

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/

(it's also available for M$ Windows).

Have fun.

I thought LQ had their own folding@home team, or maybe seti@home. I can't remember, I'm sure there was a team for one of the distributed computing projects anyhow
