I have just download Knoppix to rescue the data from a hosed windows system. This was my first experience with Knoppix. It is really cool. I was able to easily configure the nic to access the network, and transfer the data I needed. I am going to burn a few extra copies and give them to people when I talk about linux and they seem interested. It gives them a chance to run and try linux without having to do an installation. Just thought I would pass this on to anybody that does not know about
www.knoppix.com or has thought about it and haven't done it yet.
