I made a linux wallpaper

Hi, guys.

I have created a wallpaper for linux and I hope you guys like it.

This was inspired by a Windows wallpaper, though. But later I found that Windows wallpaper was actually using the background of MacOS X. However, I have created this one from the ground up so there shouldn't be any copyright problem

This is the PNG file:
http://dotkoyi.hp.infoseek.co.jp/img...f/linux_bg.png

togehter with the GIMP xcf file:
http://dotkoyi.hp.infoseek.co.jp/img...f/linux_bg.xcf

Tweak it to ur likings!

Enjoy

With all due respect, it doesn't say much, it's played too safe IMHO.
Why don't you take something that *really* interests you and make a wallpaper out of that?

I don't think it's all that bad. I prefer minimalist backgrounds for when I'm using something with a transparent window. Also, when I have files on the desktop it helps keeping them from getting hidden in the artwork.

I'd consider using it, but I like to have backgrounds that are mostly black.

I also like it - it's like all the desktop wallpapers I choose: minimalistic, clean and not obtrusive.

Thanks for liking it.

For those who don't like the background, perhaps you can download the xcf file and change it to something else. I think it can be done pretty easily.
