how to start PostgreSQL under cygwin?

I am a newbie to pgsql, also a newbie to cygwin. My only *nix experience is fbsd.
I did not figure out a way to start pgsql, because it seems that cygwin doesn't have rc.d system, I didn't find any start up script.....
