how to install ubuntu into a toshiba satellite pro 4300


hello everyone,

I try to practice linux in an old notebook. Can anyboy guide me to install ubuntu into a toshiba notebook which model is satellite pro 4300.

Not ubuntu but a good resource that will get you going into the right direction.

I have a 4600 - very similar specs.
Stick the CD in and follow the normal install. Give it as much disk as you can - minmum 6 Gig for Dapper (6.06).
Works fine, if a little slow; o.k. for mail and web browsing.
