how to find out IP addresses

Is there a way to find out the IP addresses of the equipment, which is connected to my PC, for example the address of my router?
I use both Win XP and Debian Sarge.

Your home router will be your gateway address so in windows do an ipconfig and in linux do a netstat -rn

Home routers are usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
