My prob is I can never remember if I have to do

or

Make sure you have the right dependencies installed before installing your lightbulb:
socket, switch, wiring, and electricity.

I know I should ask this in "lightbulb security" but

well...
I have a local area network of 100W and 75 W lightbulbs running Mandriva Lite 2009, and they connect to the grid using IP-Cop lite to prevent bad electrons, and everything runs smoothly inside except there is a streetlight out the front running windows.

What can I do about this annoying streetlight ?

apt-get install blackout-blinds

EDIT:-

for RPM based installations

rpm -i blackout-blinds.rpm

I tried once installing Lightbulbs from scratch on my lamptop
but gave up
went back to Mandriva lite

Please don't use words like urgent and help, it's only urgent to you since you have to wait so long to see the light. Try:

Sorry, but the bulb is in the bathroom and I was bursting for a pee and couldn't see the toilet bowl and made a puddle on the floor and blamed it on the dog.
