grub problem with 2 hard disk with boot loaders. (linux & windows 2000)

Hi! (sorry by me english)

I have 2 hard disks.

The first have redhat linux 9.0 and boot with grub. (only linux). This hard disk is a primary master disk.

The second have windows 2000. (only windows) and this boot with windows loader. This disk is secondary master disk.

I need that the first master disk with grub can boot the secondary master boot.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings from Santiago de Chile.

pd. Actually if i need to use linux or windows i disconnect the linux disk or the windows 2000 disk.

You'll need to edit grub's configuration file /boot/grub/menu.lst or /boot/grub/grub.conf

Adding this stanza
Code:
title=WinXP
rootnoverify (hd1,0) #if windows is on 1st partition of 2nd drive
makeactive
chainloader +1
should do it.

edit: your english is much better than my Spanish or Mapuche

Shoot! I forgot that it was on the other drive! Grr! Yes, the "map" command is the saviour (boot-as for lilo users).

Glad you got it going
